Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre Accessibility Standard for Customer Service
In compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service, Ontario Regulation 429/07, the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) is mandated to ensure that all staff and services are responding to the needs of clients with disabilities. The Accessibility Standard for Customer Service applies to all people or organizations in Ontario that provide goods or services and have one or more employees. It affects private, non-profit and public sectors.
In order to ensure WOCRC’s compliance with this legislation, all volunteers and staff have completed training on accessible customer service.
