Counselling, Information & Referral

The Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) provides counselling, information and referral to all members of our diverse communities, regardless of gender, race, age, sexual orientation or physical ability.

The counsellor can help you by phone or in person by:
  • Answering your questions about the WOCRC’s various services;
  • Suggesting solutions for difficulties you may be facing (i.e., housing needs, paying bills, etc.);
  • Making referrals to services you need either at the WOCRC or in the community;
  • Providing short-term counselling for issues you are having;
  • Providing crisis intervention for you and your family members; and
  • Offering a supportive ear to listen.
