Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre is launching two community service centres on Nov. 15 in Fitzroy Harbour and Nov. 17 in Constance Bay.

The centres will offer the following services to older adults and adults with a physical disability in West Carleton to help these rural residents remain living independently in their communities:

• Low-cost transportation coordination for rural residents with a K0A, K7S and K2K postal code;
• Meals on Wheels delivery;
• Local volunteer opportunities;
• Home maintenance; and
• Information and referral services.

The Fitzroy Harbour centre will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Bethel-St. Andrew’s United Church (184 Jack Lougheed Way) and the Constance Bay centre will be open Mondays and Thursdays at the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Centre (262 Len Purcell Dr.).
