WOCRC is proud to offer safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for seniors and adults living with physical disabilities. Whether you’re heading to a medical appointment, grocery shopping, or visiting a community service, our transportation program is designed to support your independence and mobility.

✅ Who Can Use This Service?

This service is available to individuals who are able to transfer safely and independently into a vehicle. Rides must be scheduled in advance to ensure availability and proper coordination.

If you require help navigating stairs or elevators at your destination, our trained drivers are happy to assist. For medical procedures involving sedation, clients must be accompanied by a companion for safety reasons.

We also offer wheelchair-accessible vehicles upon request, ensuring inclusive transportation for all mobility needs.

We offer affordable rates based on your location and distance travelled. Here’s a breakdown of our pricing:

Suburban Postal Codes

K2B, K2C, K2E, K2G, K2M, K2H, K2J, K2K (except K2K 1X7), K2L, K2R, K2S, K2T, K2V

• 1–10 km: $12
• 11–30 km: $17
• 31–50 km: $22
• 51–70 km: $32
• 71–90 km: $42
• Over 91 km: $0.50/km

Rural Postal Codes

K0A, K2K 1X7, K2W, K7S

• 0–30 km: $11 (return trip)
• 31+ km: $19.50 (return trip)
• Grocery transportation: $10 (return trip)

Note: Parking fees are the responsibility of the client. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.

WOCRC also collaborates with OC Transpo to provide rural partner routes, expanding access to public transportation options for residents in outlying areas.
