Volunteer with the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC)

At the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC), we are committed to building healthy, inclusive, and vibrant communities in Western Ottawa. The dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers are essential to our success. Volunteers work hand-in-hand with our paid staff to deliver a wide range of programs and services to community members of all ages. Whether providing leadership, administrative support, hands-on assistance, transportation, or more, our volunteers play a vital role in making a positive impact.

A Volunteer’s Perspective!

“Although it is not a success story specific to a specific client, I look at it as a success story from me to me – in a way that my experience as a driver has changed me (in a good way).  I could have simply found a government job following my retirement from the military, or played golf all the time, but I wanted to give volunteering a try/shot, and I am so glad I did.” Loic
