Community Workshops

Our Child and Youth staff team will work with other organizations, community groups and individual community members, including parents and youth, to provide services and education on issues that affect today’s young people.

We can help organize or participate in community and school-based events such as social service fairs, workshops, parent information nights, group programs, teacher trainings, as well as offer presentations on children and/or youth-related topics such as Internet safety, healthy relationships, mental health, and peer harassment. Requests for workshops may come from youth, parents or from schools.

We are committed to providing services responsive to community needs. We design and deliver seminars and workshops to fit the particular needs of a group, organization, or school, and welcome your suggestions for programming!

To request a presentation or workshop, please contact intake@wocrc.ca or call 613-591-3686 ext. 269.
