After serving as a valued member of our Board since 2023, we are pleased to share that Parmod Chhabra has been appointed as the new Board Chair for WOCRC.

Parmod brings more than three decades of experience in public service and community leadership, he joined our Board following a distinguished 32-year career with Ontario’s Ministry of Community and Social Services. Throughout his career he helped shape programs and policies that supported underrepresented populations, youth, seniors, and individuals facing mental health challenges.

Parmod has consistently volunteered and worked to advance inclusion and improve outcomes for individuals facing systemic barriers. As Board Chair, Parmod’s dedication, experience, and collaborative leadership will help guide WOCRC as we continue to serve our community and advance our mission.
