On behalf of the WOCRC’s women’s shelter, Chrysalis House, we would like to thank terra20 for their generous donation of $1,500. 

The WOCRC, in partnership with Algonquin College and the Champlain Local Health Integration Network (LHIN), has launched a new Adult Day Program (ADP) in the City’s west end.

Each year, the WOCRC accepts nominations for the Eva James Award, an award established to recognize a volunteer who best personifies the commitment exemplified by Eva James.

An unusual yet fortunate connection between a salon and a women’s shelter has led to many smiles from shelter residents’ faces.

“There’s more than Chris Long and four walls,” says Chris Long, Investment Advisor at CIBC Wood Gundy in Kanata. The statement is defended by Long’s continuous contributions to the WOCRC and his community.
